Geoffrey White

Geoffrey White is a native of North Carolina.  He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.  Mr. White has taught instrumental music (band, orchestra, and guitar) in North Carolina since 1994, and has served on staff at the UNC-Greensboro summer music camp, Methodist University’s SummerJam! summer music camp, as well as the Cumberland County Schools summer strings and summer band camp.  His primary instrument is the saxophone.  In addition to his work as a public school teacher, Mr. White has served as a church music director in Fayetteville continuously since 1995.  He is currently the worship pastor for Refuge Church in Fayetteville.  Mr. White retired as the orchestra director at Cape Fear High School in 2023.
