Diana Andrews majored in cello performance and music theory at Central Michigan University, where she also won a music scholarship. She also studied at Tennessee Temple University. Diana has played in several orchestras and symphonies, including the Central Michigan University Orchestra, Mount Clemens Symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, Ferris State University Orchestra, Labrie Orchestra, Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, and the Fayetteville Chamber Orchestra. She has also taught string methods class at Tennessee Temple university. Diana has also played solos and in quartets and other groups around the Fayetteville area as well as for weddings and funerals. Diana says, "I give all glory to God for every teacher and experience He has brought into my life. I love serving Him through the gifts He’s given me." Diana has enjoyed teaching many students over the years- the youngest beginner being 5 years old and the oldest a 73 year young grandmother who wanted to learn to play duets with her granddaughter on violin. She can play and teach, violin, viola, cello, bass, organ and piano. Her primary instrument and favorite is the cello, although she also plays the piano weekly as the pianist for Lighthouse Baptist Church in Hope Mills where her husband, Ken, is the music director. Diana has enjoyed many years of teaching students at Snyder Music Academy.
