A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Robert “Bob” James graduated from Hampton University in 1991 with a BA in Jazz Studies, concentration in guitar. Since then he has traveled the world as keyboardist, guitarist, and background vocalist with several local bands--including The Total Package Band, Autumn Tyde, Throwback Collaboration Band and various ensembles with vocalist Angelica Ahrens--as well the world-renowned Fatback Band. He has also played guitar and piano with the Fayetteville Jazz Orchestra.
Bob is currently the keyboardist for Fayetteville Family Worship Center in Fayetteville.
