Andrew Whitley is a North Carolina native and resident of Harnett County. He began taking piano lessons at the age of 5 and violin lessons at the age of 6. Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Campbell University with a BM degree in Piano Pedagogy. Growing up, he played in the Triangle Youth String Orchestra, and was a member of the Student Division of American College of Musicians in the National Piano Guild. While focusing on his piano studies in college, he was involved in the University’s string ensemble. He was also involved in the marching band and played the alto saxophone. Currently, he is taking organ lessons and hopes to soon start playing for churches. Outside of teaching music, Andrew enjoys socializing with friends, playing video games, learning new things, and playing with his cats.
