Ms. Monique Singletary’s passion is teaching strings. Her gentle yet serious approach, attention to detail, insistence on music mastery, accelerated advancement techniques and her ability to make complex concepts easy to learn all attribute to her success as an educator. Ms. Singletary strives to build students confidence and enthusiasm to further excel in their craft. Ms. Singletary enjoys teaching learners of all ages, guiding them along their journey to reach their fullest potential.
Outside the classroom, Monique Singletary performs professionally across the US and abroad as a solo artist and as a founding member with ‘Arione String Ensemble’. Thrilling audiences with freestyle renderings and performances of originally composed works that boldly fuse the classical esthetic with the Gospel, Jazz, R&B sound and Soul. Ms. Singletary takes great pride in spearheading the development of orchestral programs for churches and youth ministries.
Ms. Monique Singletary is a Violinist, Performer, Composer & Music Instructor with over 25+ years of experience. Ms. Singletary holds a Masters in Violin Pedagogy from the Shenandoah Conservatory and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Fayetteville State University.
