A resident of Fayetteville since 1989, Geron Gambill has played trumpet for church worship services, music/drama productions, weddings, graduations and community events throughout the area. He has been the principal trumpet for the Snyder Orchestra since 2000 and currently plays with the Highland Brass Quintet, Fayetteville Jazz Orchestra and Raleigh Jazz Orchestra. He is accomplished on trumpet, flugelhorn and piccolo trumpet. His participation in the Fayetteville music scene was recognized by Community Concerts, who inducted him into their Music Hall of Fame in 2019. Geron is especially interested in helping beginning and intermediate students establish proper fundamentals that will enhance their sound and speed their development.
