Graduated with honors from Hampton University, Hampton, VA. with a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies (concentration on guitar)   May 1991

In addition to teaching at Snyder Music Academy, Bob is currently the Minister of Music at Hood Memorial AME Zion Church in Fayetteville, NC., since 2010.

Also performed on guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and vocals professionally with many other groups in North Carolina and Tennessee, including various church groups.   1996-2014

Has composed over 100 original, complete works, including “Of Sin and Sainthood” and “Scrap,” which were included on the CD-ROM “Current Work: 2001,” compiled and released by the visual arts area of Fayetteville State University’s Fine Arts Department.
Performed an original piano composition, “Untitled #3,” at the Composers’ Forum at the University of Georgia, Albany, in 2003.
First movement of an original brass quintet (“Ode to Adjustment: Arrival”) was performed at the Composers’ Forum at the University of Georgia, Albany, in 2003.
